ProSocial Matrix Training and Certification
Dr. Polk is the originator of the ProSocial Matrix, an extension of the ACT Matrix. Dr. (Polk is the principal developer of the ACT Matrix.) While the ACT Matrix focused on individuals, the ProSocial Matrix focuses on helping two or more people work together as a team.
Couples, industrial teams, executive management teams and more use the ProSocial Matrix to communicate about shared purposes and values. Teams then communicate about emotions that can get in the way of teamwork.
Once a ProSocial communication process is established, many teams function well on their own.
However, if the team needs more, Ostrom’s 8 designed principles for successful workgroups can be added.
